This card was issued in the UK by Gallaher Ltd. in 1938. It is card number 42 from a set of 48 cards entitled "Dogs Second Series of 48". The card was given as a free premium and was inserted into a packet of 10 Gallaher's Cigarettes. The front of the card shows an artist drawn picture of the Basset Hound, while the back of the card has a brief description of this breed.

This 65 year old card is in Excellent condition.
