This lovely card was issued in the UK by the Ardath Tobacco Co. Ltd. in 1934. It is card number
15 from
a set of 25 cards entitled "Champion Dogs". The card was given as a free premium
and was inserted into a
large tin of 50 "Ardath Cork" or "State Express 333" Cigarettes. The
front of the card shows a picture
of a Champion English Springer Spaniel drawn by the artist "Fall"
while the back of
the card has the
breed points as they were in 1934.
